This allows significantly more components per unit area, making it suitable for more complex circuit designs while remaining more affordable than multilayer PCBs.

Yes. OM Electronics manufactures double-sided PCBs that support mixed assembly — combining Surface Mount Technology (SMT) components on one or both sides with through-hole (THT) components. This flexibility makes double-sided PCBs ideal for industrial automation, power electronics, and telecommunications equipment where diverse component types are required on a single board.

We offer three surface finish options for double-sided PCBs: HASL (Hot Air Solder Levelling) for general-purpose applications, Lead-Free HASL for RoHS-compliant and export orders, and ENIG (Electroless Nickel Immersion Gold) for fine-pitch SMD components, connectors, and applications requiring a flat, oxidation-resistant surface. ENIG is recommended for BGA and QFP packages.

Standard lead time for double-sided PCBs at OM Electronics is 4–5 working days from receipt of Gerber files and order confirmation.
